The Power Prep Hockey League (PPHL) Girls season celebration began with an exciting Combined 16U/19U All-Star Game, bringing together standout players from across both divisions for a showcase of skill, speed, and high-level competition ahead of championship weekend.
The combined All-Star format highlighted the depth of talent throughout the league, as top performers from the 16U and 19U divisions competed together in a fast-paced and highly competitive matchup.
Team Red earned a thrilling 5-4 overtime victory over Team Grey in a back-and-forth contest that featured momentum swings throughout regulation.
Team Grey was powered offensively by Madison Levesque (College Bourget 19U), who recorded a three-point performance with two goals and one assist. Despite the strong showing, Team Red continued to find timely responses to keep the game even heading into overtime.
Faith Baratta (Lovell Academy 19U) and Emily Araujo (Lovell Academy 16U Tier 2) each scored twice to lead Team Red offensively. With overtime nearing its conclusion, Araujo delivered the game’s defining moment, scoring the overtime winner with 1:07 remaining after a skilled move in front of the net to seal the 5-4 victory.
The All-Star Game served as a fitting celebration of the talent, development, and competitiveness displayed across the PPHL Girls divisions throughout the 2025-26 season. Congratulations to all players selected to participate, as All-Star recognition represents outstanding performance and impact throughout the year.
