Guilford, Conn., - The Power Prep Hockey League (PPHL) has announced that its Board of Governors has granted approval of the American Hockey Academy for membership for the 2023-2024 season.

“Here at American Hockey Academy it’s part of our mission to provide the best development and best competition to our student athletes as possible. With being admitted to join the PPHL it only solidifies that we are playing some of the best competition in North America. The PPHL in a very short time, has launched themselves to the top of the hockey food chain as one of the most elite and exclusive leagues, and we could not be more thankful and honored to now be part of it. We will push ourselves internally, providing the strongest competition we can for other league members, to make sure the league continues that reputation. We are excited and looking forward to a great season.”

The American Hockey Academy in partnership with CATS Academy School, is located in Braintree, Massachusetts, just minutes from downtown Boston and is one of only four high school Hockey Academies in New England that is offering both high-end hockey skills and playing development.

With all teams now approved for the 2023-24, the PPHL will turn our focus to creating a regular season schedule ahead of our 2nd season beginning in November of 2023, opening up with the first showcase at Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills, Ohio.
