GUILFORD, Conn. -- A new tier of competition for girls hockey is being unveiled by the Power Prep Hockey League for the 2023-24 season.
This Girls Academy League has been created by the PPHL to aid in developing a higher level of female hockey players across North America. Similar to its Midget-level boys counterpart, the new girls league will embrace the desire of elite players to maintain an unrivaled standard of excellence in competition, camaraderie and academics.
The PPHL Girls Academy League is designed as a top-tier, all-girls league committed to cultivating an incomparable environment by organizing international showcases spread throughout the season calendar. The mission of the PPHL Girls Academy League is to provide the opportunity for some of the most dynamic hockey institutions in North America to developmentally stretch their players through superior competition.
