The 2025 Power Prep Hockey League (PPHL) Boys Showcase returns to the Essex Sports Center in Essex, Massachusetts, from November 21–23, bringing a weekend of high-level prep hockey competition. Featuring top programs from across North America, the event will showcase elite matchups in both the 18U and 16U divisions.

18U Division: Stacked Field Ready to Battle

The 18U division features a strong lineup of returning teams and new additions. Elite Hockey Academy, which finished third at last year’s showcase, is back alongside the NH Mountain Kings (5th), Cyclones Academy (NH) (6th), and The Hill Academy (7th).

New to the 18U field are Lovell Academy, Westchester Wolves, and Ontario Hockey Academy. NH Mountain Kings 17U will also compete as a guest team, taking on older opponents in a test of skill and competitiveness.

16U Division: Proven Programs Meet Promising Newcomers

The 16U division also features a mix of returning programs and new faces. Bishops College, last year’s runner-up, returns alongside Elite Hockey Academy (5th in 2024), NH Mountain Kings (4th), and Cyclones Academy (NH) (6th).

Joining the 16U showcase this year are Lovell Academy, Westchester Wolves and Ontario Hockey Academy.
